I've been a Radiohead for a good while now and one criticism I've heard about them and bands like Portishead is "It's beautiful music but really depressing." I never really heard what people meant by that statement, until I heard Grizzly Bear. For the most part I'm really into their music because of that blanket statement, however... This song video below is really beautiful and depressing in the best way possible. If you don't believe me just read the quote below from a YouTube viewer.
"after he gets reverse pooped as an imploding vagina into the prism is when shit starts to get real."
Also, in great videos is the only good video from Beach House's ambitious video for every song on the album project for Teen Dream. This one blew my mind a little bit. Just the tip though.

Cereal Killer
A long time favorite breakfast experiment, but now an artistic project in sweetness, is mixing up cereals. My new found morning freedom and awesome DJ skills will allow me the creative freedom to come up with some new cereal magic, that's essential to a well balanced breakfast. First, on the 1s + 2s is The PBJ. To get this, you add...

and...

Add some bananas for extra jump-off. I'll work on some new whole grain mash-ups for the future, but in the meantime, here's some jam for your Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch.

NYC without me
This past week, I took a little trip up north for Fashion Week.

I saw lots of people who looked important and fabulous, but probably aren't...

Did a little bit of sight seeing...

I also relaxed a little bit...

and I made some new friends!
Overall, it was an awesome trip! I only wish that it was really me that went. Actually, it was my wife Sasha that went. From what I hear, in New York the gheys don't take "no" for an answer. See more of the fun I didn't have on the Flickr.
